I was going to skip this month since I hadn’t seen any good logos and then I had a discussion with someone who works at Fender Guitars and decided it was worth telling their story here on BrainFuel. Fender Guitars is based right here in Scottsdale, AZ and is celebrating 60 years at the moment….

I’m nominating the Pixie Mate logo as logo of the month for July. It’s classy and timeless, with a hint of 50s styling.

In the past year or two I’ve met a couple of people who only know of two or three fonts. They’re usually the old school fonts and come in one of these flavors: Garamond Helvetica Times And, if they’re being brave they’ll live with Arial or Verdana.
