The White House web site was redesigned recently, and the new site looks more like a step backwards than a step forward, in my opinion. What happened? It’s like Web 2.0 White House.

Earlier this week Bryan showed me the Cork’d web site and I of course immediately loved the design. Nice job to whoever built it. I love the simple illustrations and tight color choices.

I really like the navigation system on Billboard.com, it is super clean and colorful. The rest of the site is actually well done. It’s quite busy but easy to use — thanks to clean layout and use of a readable font size.

I ran across MBA.com and GMAC.com today, both are sites intended to help you get an MBA and research/choose schools. I thought they were both quite nice in the way they present content. It’s clear and at the same time they put a lot of information out on the page for you to digest. —…
