Why would you ever name a company Elbow Chocolates? Oh well, at least they have a really cool web site (all Flash, too) and they have a nice logo. Don’t miss the cool effect when you rollover some of the chocolates on the Our Selection page.

CNET recently designed a new site for their corporate site (which mostly exists for the advertising information). I liked the design enough to post it here. It’s simple and clear.

Ran across TOMS Shoes this morning. I liked the creative use of color and imagery. There are things I would do differently, but I have to give them a lot of credit for breaking out of the mold.

Go Daddy recently redesigned their homepage and it is vastly improved. So much better that for a change it doesn’t take me 10 minutes just to get my bearings when I visit. For a change the page takes less effort and that’s really good.

About a week ago I was telling the rest of the team at Tornado that there should be a Digg for all of the bills and decisions being considered in Washington. Nobody really thought it was a good idea. I guess it was.
