I probably wouldn’t even believe I had actually inherited the money until I actually saw a deposit slip from the bank…..It goes without saying that I would pay off my bills and get out of debt……buy myself a nice comfortable home….I would also like to go to New York city for about two weeks and stay in the most expensive hotel suite in the most expensive hotel in the city….you know, just be totally pampered….I would treat myself to a $250,000.00 shopping spree…..next I would most defintely buy that brand-new 2008 Cadillac CTS, black exterior and black leather interior..as far as sharing it, I would defintely help out a legitimate charity..and help out my kinfolk who have helped me out…I don’t have any vices like gambling or drinking, so I don’t have to worry about throwing away the money on stuff like that….Since I can’t say I would invest it, I would defintely say that short of what I have stated, I would definitely be careful how I spent the rest of the money….you know being prepared for famine in the time of feasting kinda of situation….
1.Take my family on a trip around the world.
2.Start up a fundraiser for poor children in
Guatemala,this is the most important one.
3.Give some to my church.
4.Open up a school for kids to go to for free in Guatemala
5.Build my dream house in the US and Guatemala so that my family will always have a place to go.
6.Then of course my mother would never have to work agian
neither would my aunt in Guatemala.

IF I won 10 whole million, I’d give God his money first. Then I’d remodel my parents home (of course they wouldn’t have anymore money worries), then I’d give the sisters and brother their portion, their kids their portion,my 3 favorite cousins their portion, my best friend her portion, or course I’d give to the need children and a few charities. The rest I’d put in an account to live off the interest. The interest would keep me close to the earth so my head wouldn’t get to much bigger than it already is. Oh, wait, I’d take a 6 month leave, so the crazies in the neighborhood wouldnt get any ideas 🙂

Although this is a lot of money to spend it is not at all difficult to acquire expensive habits and taste to loose it fast. First, in my opinion, one should seek an advice from a reputable financial specialist and pay off the necessary taxes. Then, it would be wise to invest at least 40% of the remainder amount in various international mutual funds. Buy government bonds every year and help out the local economy. I would also try to make life around myself a little easier, kinder, happier through help to parents, siblings and relatives. My personal favourite would be to travel to Tibet for a year or so.

7) What was left I would distribute among the very large # of family members left, I believe it would be around 40 people.
8) Then I would begin to enjoy life.
