If you inherited ten million dollars tomorrow what would you do with it?

So what would you do? And you can’t invest it because we would all do that. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  1. buy a ford GT
go to japan for 6 months
do up my house (and buy my next door neighbours house from them because I HATE HIM)
    get some fly cloathing
    pay off my debts
pay off my parents and brothers debts
design websites for free for companies i deem worthy ๐Ÿ™‚

    mark

  2. 1) Pay off my debts
    2) Buy a house
    3) Pay off the debts of my immediate family members
    4) Quit my job
    5) Write a book
    6) Invest some of it
    7) Give some of it away

  3. 1) Hire a lawyer to keep it secret
    2) Give Mom half
    3) Pay off debts (including house)
    4) Save the world (ok, it’s not /that/ much money so I’d donate some to a good cause)

  4. Wait, before all this i’d have to give his money to God! 10% of it.. my pastor would loooove me..
    1. Buy a sweet bass for my brother (this is definitely the first thing i’d do if he finds out i’m suddenly a millionaire)
    2. I’d pay for all my college education in an Art Institute
    3. I’d pay off my dad’s new car.. no wait.. yes, i’d pay for it and give it to my mom or my brother and then
    4. Buy a new car for my dad (his BMW)
    5. Buy a couple of houses for my sister and my parents to live on
I think i have no leftover, but if i did, i’d save it..

  5. I’d take it and get it converted to 100 bills. Then I’d put it all in a giant pile and roll around in it.

After I got bored of that, I’d get bodyguards and go around town and give 20 bills to everyone I saw, with my name on them. (the ensuing chaos and news reports would be fun)
I wouldn’t spend more than 50,000 on this little project, though.

I would then go over to Moller, Inc. (http://www.moller.com/), and kick their butts for taking so long to develop the Skycar. Then I would personally oversee and finance the project until it was completed, dang it.

  6. give my parents 3 million.
    give my brother 3 million.

give the finger to many people.
    marry the woman i love.
no no.. wait, back up a bit, BEFORE i marry, travel the world with new camera equipment and kick ass puter stuff.
come back, marry the woman i love ๐Ÿ˜›

then travel the world again and never stay in one place for more than a year for the rest of our lives.

  7. 1) Buy a small and promissing software company, like Panic
    2) Build my Graphic Design Studio
    3) Build my Music Producing Studio
    4) Pay the best Music Engineering school and study the whole 6 years like a mad man
    5) Join the underground drum & bass scene as a producer/dj
    6) Put the rest of the money on a (huge) safe and earn my living through music and design.

  8. Become a super villain, complete with awesome costume, sweet batmobile-type cars and secret lair/house… and defeat super heroes. Yup.

  9. 1. Buy my grandmother a house and pay all her debt and give her 1 million dollars for taking care of my daughter while Im here in Iraq.
    2. Help my family get out of debt.
    3. Buy houses for family members who don’t have a house.
    4. Start a buisness(family owned).
    5. Have the wedding and honeymoon of my dreams.
    6. build homeless shelters, emergency shelters.
    7. Thank God

  10. i would probably support my family first.

    use the money for school.
    nintendo ds.
    singing lessons.
    dance classes.

when all is stable i might donate a small amount but i would probably save the rest otherwise.

oh yea id make small minor changes to our 1 story house to improve the quality of regular living in the house (fix walls roof etc)

  11. I WILL LIVE IT UP. WHY WAIT IF I HAD TEN MILLION HATERS BETTER WATCH CAUSE DADDY BACK AND HOTTER THAN BEFORE.

  12. have enough capital to start my own buisness and make 10x that much to provide free health care to all americans.

  13. I would also give 10% to God. 25% to offering. Just giving him back what he gave to me.

    Buy my dream home
    Live debt free
Educate the woman of this world.
Leave financially legacies for my children.
Buy other peoples dream homes for them.

  14. 10 million is a lot of money. I don’t personally need so much. One million is enough to change my life and my family’s life forever. I would use about 1 million to open a horse rescue center which my family and I would run. Thats my goal. In future to expand to an all animal rescue, but Im the type to start small. I would give to charities like feed the children, and Earth foundation, and other shelters. I would also choose people at random who have asked for money because they needed it, not because they wanted a new tv or something silly like that. There are so many that need that kind of money, and as 10 million is a lot, it isn’t enough to help everyone ๐Ÿ™ However, to the right people, its a start of a new life. I like the Pay It Forward concept.

  15. I would give a good protion of it to St Jude Hospital for children and the breast Cancer assoiation. I would also start an organization to help the survivors of the Katrina victims. Then what I had left after that I would start a college fund for my 10 month old Daughter. Pay off my parents house and By my Mom 1. Then Last but not least Buy my wife and I a rental property and A Home for my daughter and my wife. My wife wants a hard top convertable so we would get her 1. That would just about Zero out the entire 10 million dollars. Oh yah I would put 1 million in to an account and live off the interest for the rest of my life.

  16. 1. I would put 7 million into a CDC account for 4 year intervals.
    2. I’d take care of my grandparents health and wellbeing, and pay off my parents house and debts ~700k
    3. I’d take my family on a nice vacation to somewhere incredible, first class all the way. ~300K
    4. I’d finish my degree and become a travel nurse and Use the 2 million for my family and I to ensure our wellbeing.
    5. I’d buy $1000 in Gift cards and vouchers to give to people who look like they need some clothes or a meal or something.
    6. I’d try to give any kids I had a nice life, and provide for them.

  17. I’d split it in half:
    – half for my family (a million for each kid, one for my retirement)
    – half for a charity foundation that I would run and plan to spend all the money in it on needy children all over the world during my lifetime.

The reason I’d split it in half is to eliminate the temptation, because morally I’d say give it all to charity, but I’m human…

  18. There are many opportunities with Ten Million dollars. I think I would have to ask for professional advice on this matter. It should be managed very wisely to grow so that many wonderful things can happen for alot of wonderful people Responsible Investing. Yes, changing lives would be the Ten Million Dollar Dream.. What a dream…..Thats it… ok, back to reality… there’s a hole in my pocket… I like dreaming… I guess Id buy a new pair of pants first… so there would be no hole in my pocket… Ok time to do the laundry and sew this hole in my pocker…

  19. First I would be grateful. I would thank the powers that be.

Hire a finance planner. Learn how to keep the money.

    Travel. Slowly around the world.

Buy a new car. I have not had a “new” car since 1978.

Buy a farm and let my lesson horses retire (I teach riding)

    Then be grateful, once again.

  20. I already have 10 million dollars but I am no happier and just as insecure. It definitely doesnt suck though although I am always woorying about being left behind by my other successful peers.

  21. I already have 10 million dollars but I am no happier and just as insecure. It definitely doesnt suck although I am always worrying about being left behind by my other successful peers.

  22. I might faint initaly,. Im not sure, the excitement of my dreams happening, and my worries coming to an end.. Its overwhelming to even think about. I might smile for the rest of my life to know that I would be entrusted to this amount of money. That the Lord might change my life, MY LIFE, in such a way that I could change others. Never put yourself last, but always put the Lord first and do to one as you would want done to you. My family, and close friends would all be taken to an Auto Mall for their choice vehicle. I would invest in stocks with brokers making sure funds were increasing monthly. Charity is nice, its great, but most take 20 to 80 % of your donation. so look into the right ones. I would create a buisness that would idealy expand creating a career for individuals with the drive to succeed. Live life to the fullest, give my children the life I never had, and treat everything and one with respect. Oh and Id go fishing. =o)

  23. Pay myself,
    Pay my wife,
    Pay my kids,
    Pay my parents,
    Pay my wife’s parents
and spend the rest of my life demonstrating
how grateful I am to have so
    many people to love.
