BrainFuel 2007 Post-Holiday Gift Guide

Happy New Year, everybody! Didn’t get everything you wanted from Santa?

We’re rather a different lot over at BrainFuel, and so for our first ever Post-Holiday Gift Guide, we bring you our suggestions to make your new year a delight!

100 Catalog Envelopes (12″ x 15.5″)

Have a friend who is unorganized or even a boss or client? Give them a box of 100 Catalog Envelopes and a copy of Getting Things Done and tell them that every time it says “folder” substitute “catalog envelope” (we call them project folders at the office).

Dozen Cookies from Chocolate Star Bakery

These are the best cookies. These are some of the very best cookies you will find. Request a few of the “pink clouds” when you place your order. Great gift for clients.

Mister Shape T-Shirt

Get a Mister Shape T-Shirt for yourself or a buddy. Made by an Arizona Designer.

Pinsetter

Give a set of Pinsetter pins your friend their name or business name spelled out in cool 1 inch pins. Guaranteed to surprise. I’ve already got mine.

On Writing Well

A fabulous book about how to write engaging copy.

Free Prize Inside: The Next Big Marketing Idea

This book offers an excellent explanation of why most forms of advertising don’t work anymore, a bit of history about how we got into this situation, and some ideas for marketing. From Seth Godin.

Airborne Health

This stuff works and actually helps you prevent colds and the flu.

Dell UltraSharp 2407WFP 24.0-inch Flat Panel LCD Monitor

It will change the way you work. We have two of them at the Tornado Design office and I couldn’t recommend this type of monitor more.

The Electric Pocket

Made from the same stuff as wetsuits, the products from Built NY are all trendy colors and super cool. Check it out here.

  1. Nice list you got here Chris! I already have my Mister Shape t-shirt and some Airborne, although that Dell monitor might have to wait until next year. 🙂

  2. I’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on one of those Dell monitors. It seems like the price just keeps dropping on them. $719 is pretty good for a 24″ HD Widescreen.

I may just have to go for it.
