I’ve been thinking about ways to deal with overload and it occured to me that a lot of industries have a thing known as “Waiting Lists.” That’s a wierd idea but I wondered if it could apply to the services industry.
Think about it a moment: What do we sell? Time. There’s only so much time in a day, and so I wonder how people, prospects, and clients would respond if we told them we have a Waiting List. I’m guessing it wouldn’t fly but it’s an interesting idea.

sont say “waiting list” just “book in their project” and provide telephone consultancy and soem project meetings before this deadline, make sure dduring this ‘dead’ time theyre working their arse off to make your part of the project go smoothly.
