I’ve been thinking about ways to deal with overload and it occured to me that a lot of industries have a thing known as “Waiting Lists.” That’s a wierd idea but I wondered if it could apply to the services industry.
Think about it a moment: What do we sell? Time. There’s only so much time in a day, and so I wonder how people, prospects, and clients would respond if we told them we have a Waiting List. I’m guessing it wouldn’t fly but it’s an interesting idea.
