This my friends is the future… combining different types of data to create useful applications. A guy combined Craigslist houses for rent and sale with Google Maps. While not an every day application, it’s a great example of combining two types of data.
Imagine the other types of data you could show:
#1: US Census Figures
#2: Cars for sale
#3: Private aircraft with empty seats for sale
#4: People wanting a ride to/from somewhere
#5: Gas stations with best and worst pricing
#6: Coffee shops (haha)
#7: Office space availability
#8: Apartments
Can you think of any others?

It would be cool to see…
– Location of Public Transit (Buses/Streetcars/Subways)
– Cabs
– Wirelss Networks
Ryan: Google Ride Finder does allow you to find limos, taxis, and shuttles. It’s still in Google Labs so its buggy.

I really wish MLS used Google Maps like this… it is SO much clunkier to find stuff than this. I’ve already found a cute little house I like on here though!
