Table flip clock

Have you ever seen a click as cool as this one? How many clocks do you know of that cause the numeric panels to flip on the hour and on the minute.

  1. All the rage in the late 60s to early 70s. Often built into clock radios. I’ve thrown a few out. A savvy shopper could probably pick a decent one up at a garage sale for a couple of bucks.

  2. Wow. I can remember when that was pretty much the standard way to display time in an alarm clock.

Gee thanks Chris, now I feel old.

  3. Gary – wow, that’s a good idea. There is probably one on ebay right now!

Mark – Apparently old is selling for $109.00 today.

  4. I love the look, it could really accent modern designed homes really well. It is just a matter if you want that flamboyant of a piece telling you the time. I would think everyone in the room where this clock was located would know the exact time every second of the day.

  5. One important thing to note is that these clocks are VERY loud. The flipping noise can actually get quite annoying so don’t go putting them in your reflection room.
