Recently I’ve been tasked with helping to maintain two swimming pools: my fiancee’s and her mother’s. In AZ it’s a nice luxury. During my research on the matter I came across a guy who set up his pool care system with Linux. Pretty amazing and bit too technical for me.
From that same post about good copywriting I mentioned yesterday, I found a company called Dept. 3 which has an elegant Flash web site that makes content and ease of use primary.
GSI Commerce This is a nice site. Super simple interface with plenty of content. It is very focused.

Creo From the home page to the products page, this site wins hands down in the info design category. The Six Degrees page is pretty cool, too.
724 Solutions Besides the m-Business thing, this site is pretty cool. The colors compliment the images and navigation. Even the logo is interesting. Some pages have javascript errors, and that’s just bad business.
Bigshot Media Very cool concept: selling short video loops, optimized in Flash, as stock. The effect is quite subtle on some, making a very nice accompaniment for static text or advertising. I like the way their navbar is done too.
