So I was having coffee with a friend and we were talking about polyphasic sleep. I’ve decided that if I didn’t want to have a real life I’d give it a try.

AS OF RIGHT KNOW 82 HOURS AND IM EVEN ON THE COMP. PLAYING GAMES HAHAHAHA I THINK I COULD BEAT THE WORLD RECORD. I HEARD IT WAS 11 DAYS OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND I ALWAYS STAY AWAKE FOR LIKE 30 -40 HOURS BEFORE I FALL ASLEEP. I DONT KNOW. I NEED TO BREAK IT OR SOMETHING.!!

I stayed up for 16 days with no sleep once… It was because I was so worried about my mom… She left me alone with my grandparents which had never happened before and didn’t say when she’d be back. My grandparents would send me to bed and I’d stay up and wait at the window for her, hoping I wouldn’t miss her when she came in for food. I was about to give up when she came home really late. Mom had asked me when I last slept and I said the night before she left… I wound up sleeping 3 days strait after that, and I’ve tried again, but fallen asleep by day 4.
OMG you guys have given me so much of a drive to stay up later than i already have at the moment. It’s been 28hrs w/o sleep for me…. and i’ve this project due in 3 days time.. and party to go to on the night before it’s due.. it’s soo stressing me out.
the world record for the longest period of staying awake is about 20 years. he doesn’t sleep anymore after a coma or something. let’s see u guys beat that. i’ll try it also, but i’m only at 23 hours.
Well right now Ive been up for 18, yeah not much but I’ll shoot for 36, if I make that I’ll try 48, Better start slaming some Vaults and some coffee
well i was with some buds and we were almost caught by the cops for reasons unknown 😀 and then we played some day of defeat and tried to fall asleep but the god dam birds kept on chirping so we tooka paint ball gun and tried shooting em but it didnt work so we wnet for a walk and threw stuff and kicked power boxes sticking out of the road then we lit fires with axe then got lost in the woods found our way back
Well for me it was only 38 hours till I went to sleep:)
At first me and my friend were acting all crazy and laughing at every little stupid thing. She even thought that a car that had drove by was invisible, lol
I once stayed awake for 14 days solid as i tried to level my paladin to level 60 in the forest of eldar. i fell asleep in my own tears as my wow cd burnt out as it had been spinning constantly for 14 days xx
Ok guys.. this shit is SERIOUS with me, as most of you are aware, there’s currently a huge mmorpg out name World Of Warcraft, I got in contact with this game and BOOM.. i’m a different man. I quit my job, girlfriend and social life, i hardly ever sleep, I feel almost fucked to death. I am addicted to hell, FUCK sleep man i love my WoW.Holy shit be right back lads I just levelled up, DING -_-.

I have been up all of the night time (1pm-10am) for 4 straight days. Right now I am attempting to stay up until school starts. July 31st. (7am).
I am a junior in high school and a couple of buddies are going to try this with me, to keep us busy, wel use our laptops,tv,xbox,cars,parties, and ENERGY DRINKS!

I stayed awake for 5 nights and after the fifth night when the sun came up i went to sleep.
As of right now 36 hours with no caffeine, my GF came back from a months vacation around hour 24, and was freaked cuz i was actin’ all goofy, now i’m just sad, but i’m resolved to make it to three days.
you guys are joking 5 days , 16 days and so without sleeping. That is a load of bull. The body could not handle more than 70 hours of sleep. I mean by even not nodding off. If you sleep for 10 minutes and than wake than that is not counted as continuos non sleep. So be more realistic with you answers..
As of this moment I’ve been awake for 46 hours. I’d like to break 100, but I don’t think I’ll be able to. Two nights ago I just randomly decided not to go to sleep, and see how long I can last before I pass out.
To stay awake, I’ve been playing WoW while talking on Vent with buddies. Or I’ve been watching the seasons of Stargate SG-1 I just downloaded.
wait i dont get this. wy do u guys sleep. I have nevr slept b4 in my life. the only time i close my eyes to blink and make out. im not likin this sleepin concept. wutif someone murders. im 17 years old now so the updated record for most time awake is that given interval. thank u for ure time.
uhh i stay awake around 20 hrs of the day so thats 140 hrs a week so uhh fuck it im tired – goin 2 bed

I’ve been up for 36 hours now… longest I ever stayed up was close to 60 hours. I have fibromyalgia, which is a chronic pain condition, but it also causes major issues with insomnia, sometimes causing a person to feel very energetic and awake when they’re actually in desperate need of sleep.
I want to sleep. I just am not tired at all… I keep bouncing off the walls….
107 hours. for real, and to justin, you dont know what your talking about. The body will hold up for a long time, but the mind starts to slip really bad.
