3,500 feet is 3,499 feet too many

An amazing article I found in the Yorkshire Post (and yes, I read it every day) tells how one British Army Officer trying to cure his fear of heights falls 3,500 feet and survives after his parachute failed to open. Wow, that would sure put a new spin on life.

That’s incredible. I love the quote from the “Ministry of Defence spokesman” at the end – typical British dry humor. (or humour, if you prefer.)
