Anyone using Django?
I was just curious if anyone who reads BrainFuel is using Django for development? I know Bryan has been using it lately and has a lot of positive things to say about it. Django just recently surpassed both Symfony and Rails in terms of speed and is really hitting the mainstream.
Used any DVD Rip Software?
One of our clients gave us a DVD movie they want on their web site and we need some recommendations on software that can rip it to mpeg or equivalent. It can be either Windows or OSX software. Thanks.

Vanilla Forum
Vanilla Forum (PHP/MySQL) looks really nice. It’s new. Also, they have a FileBrowser program that’s also interesting. I haven’t tried either.

I recently had a chance to experiment with this set of tools and I found it to be underwhelming. It looks good on the demos, but when you actually try to implement it you have to use all sorts of workarounds in your code for the components. Styling is a bit of a pain as well. Probably didn’t give it a fair shake, but on the surface, I was not impressed.
