I just set up a free account on Montastic the other day and it’s 540,024,202 times better than any other traffic monitoring service. The only thing it does is tell you if your site is down, it does not keep a log of how much time your site is offline. Key word here is free.
How to fix a dead pixel on an LCD monitor – this works! I actually did it today on an LCD monitor. Trick is to apply pressure to the dead spot as you turn on the monitor.
