Cheesy Video of My Drive To Tucson

I drove down to Tucson on Sunday, and took a super cheesy video. Here it is. If you want to learn more about Picacho Peak, the sight of the only Civil War Battle to take place in Arizona, visit the Wikipedia article on the topic.

I’m planning to do more “sight seeing” tours like this of spots around town. They won’t be elegant, or fancy. But they’ll be fun.

  1. Ah yes, the notorious 100 mile trek from Phoenix to Tucson! I travel it regularly whenever I visit my parents. I was never aware of the Civil War Battle that took place at Picacho Peak, interesting stuff.

If you want something else interesting to check out, you should visit the Casa Grande ruins near Coolidge, it’s not that far out of the way: directions. The website doesn’t really show a good picture of the ruins, but they’re huge. And there’s also Rooster Cogburn’s Ostrich Farm in case you want to pick up some souvenirs. 🙂
