California Closets recently introduced a new site design (I had featured their old site last year). This new site introduces a number of new colors and photography. The old site stuck to earth tones and was primarily brown and white. This new one uses a lot of solid primary colors. I like it.
Recently, I came across a mini site for one of Porsche’s newer cars, the Cayman S. It’s definitely worth a look, so check it out if you’ve got the time. Good use of flash, very interactive and very immersive. It doesn’t hurt that the car they’re advertising is incredibly stunning, either. The nice thing about…
This site doesn’t work well in FireFox. It’s all over the screen. But in Internet Explorer it looks pretty good and so figured I’d post it here. So check out the Philips Sonicare site.
I’m experimenting with Measure Map on my coffee blog and it’s quite exciting. I’ve been trying to find good examples of charts and graphs online and Measure Map does it good. They are even in Flash. Awesome.
A few weeks ago I posted the Target web site on BrainFuel. Now, I just ran across the Target Australia site and the first thing I noticed was the different logotype. Frankly, I like it better. The US site is better focused on ecommerce though if you want my opinion.
Delight.com is a really nice spinoff of the idea that Woot started. That is, one product every day. They win in that they have a site that (based on todays product) is geared towards women. I’d suspect that there are a bunch of niche industries that could launch a site like this and be very…
I discovered this web site about wine that Sub-Zero had produced and just had to share this information request form with you. It’s probably the cleanest form I have ever seen. Good job!

I was quite impressed with the California Concepts web site. They’ve got a great theme / look going with a defined brand. One thing I can’t tell is what they charge for their services.
I get the feeling that if I need their services they’ll work very closely with me to find out what’s best for me, rather than just sell me specific shelving or cupboards.
Cool site and nice artistic style in Christopher Jones’ illustrations: Check out JonesID.com.
I like the clever photo montages throughout this web site for Monsanto Company. For example, the one pictured above has some old rotted corn in the background and in the foreground is a photo held over it of ripe, golden corn. Makes for a nice visual that also tells a story.
I really like this site for Madsen Bikes… it’s just different and the bikes look great!
Tom pointed me to this site last week and I just had to share it with you. It’s Brittleactica: Planet in need. It’s by far the best effort I have seen to extend the famous Got Milk campaign. When you visit be sure to watch the TV Transmissions as they’re full of humor from Star…
Something’s fishy over at Fish Marketing. That’s probably the most obvious thing about this site. I know you’ve probably come to expect more from the copywriting on BrainFuel however that’s the best we can serve up today. I’m writing about fish and I can’t even come up with a better pun. The Home Depot web site is interesting. Clean, simple design with lots of white space Helpful content. For example, check out the section labled Know-How. It has helpful guides that tell me how to do all kinds of home repair and remodel projects The Store Finder link is cool. It’s a layer that slides down…
