Tucker

I was checking out some of the galleries in this photography portfolio site for Mark Tucker this morning. Some fabulous photos.

I heard a critique and someone said he uses too much Photoshop. Especially in blurring the edges of his images. I don’t care really, I say if you can get results as good as this with a little Photoshop it’s good enough. Especially since his work is mostly commercial.

It got me thinking. How many photos I take where I crop too tight and should just shoot the entire landscape and blurr the edges. It might help tell the story yet keeps the focus on what is central to the image. This image for example. Also, don’t miss this terrific image.
