The Village at Woods Edge
I found The Village at Woods Edge the other day. Very nice site for a market segment that often has old computers and isn’t web savvy.

Some nice Flash work over at Braingiants. Be sure to check out thier Flash Modules and source…great learning tools if you are looking to get started.
Viddler recently launched Viddler Analytics for their business customers. The user interface is really superb and makes exploring video traffic stats fun and easy. Some of my favorite statistics: How many minutes of video were viewed in a time period Attention span — time viewed on a video (fall off rate) Bandwidth Embeded views
I really like the look of Middlebury College’s web site. Even though it’s standards compliant they’ve managed to stay away from a lot of the same layouts you see so often.
The Mindflood web site is very cool. I’m less and less a fan of the whole “booklet” and page turn effect, however they’ve managed to pull off a nice variation on that theme. Whether it is more effective than a content focused site, that’s another question entirely.
Here are some neat sites we are reading lately. PSDTuts.com: Photoshop Tips, and Tricks! NetTuts.com: Web Tips and Coding Tutorials! Smashing Magazine: All kinds of design and web resources!
I really like the Knorr splash screen.

Nice site, but the download time needs some help. I like the “Your Cottage Your Choice” slogan, which is better than the blunt truth option – “The Village at Woods Edge. Come here to die.”
I also like visible text resizing option on lower level pages. Really being considerate of the elderly eyes.
