The new Carsonified web site is really stellar — from both a content angle and the illustrative design style. It’s the sort of site that you just want to explore. Mostly to see the pictures.

Here’s one more chocolate company. Heh. This one is rather different. I think they’ve got a good start however there needs to be more consistency between the homepage and the sub pages.

CVS Pharmacy redesigned its website this weekend and I got a tip about it and decided to post it here. My first reaction is that it is a lot of red. But maybe visitors will be able to look past that and see the clean design. It definitely has a simple interface.

I ran across the James Hardie web site today and instantly liked the design.

I really like the navigation system on Billboard.com, it is super clean and colorful. The rest of the site is actually well done. It’s quite busy but easy to use — thanks to clean layout and use of a readable font size.

Sites like Union Coffee Roasters appear to have fallen by the wayside for some reason. I think the trend is away from mostly graphical sites. My eye is drawn to the really strong use of a grid in this layout.
