Rain measurements

So some interesting facts I saw the other day, all completely fabricated by your friendly local weatherman. The numbers are close to exact, I can’t remember specifics because I didn’t have a pen.

Rain Totals for 2005 to Date:

Phoenix: 4.5 inches
North Scottsdale: 9.4 inches
Cave Creek: 11.4 inches

Isn’t that amazing? Just a few miles difference. Considering most of this rain came from California storms and not the monsoon I find it rather interesting that the amounts would be so different.
