Page Rank Search and Googlebar in FireFox

I’m trying to get a site up to a higher Page Rank (and a PR of 8 or 9 would be awesome). PRSearch.net is a site I discovered that lets me search for a site and see the PR plus the number of sites that link to it.

I’ll tell ya, a high PR is hard to achieve. Some sites have an inherent advantage, for example, Internet.com has a PR 9, and by linking to it I’m helping it out, they have a high PR because they’re also a useful site. I believe their’s no trick to it if you want true PR. You have to get your brain in gear and come up with a web site that will be super-popular. Sites like Internet.com can make $50,000 + a month selling links. Maybe even more.

In other Page Rank news, PRGoogleBar is quite interesting. It’s finally enabled me to make the switch from IE to FireFox. I can have a better, faster browser at the same time and use the features of the Google Bar. I wonder when Google will make a browser add in for FireFox.

  1. You should at least give it a try, it’s very solid and has even surprised me. I’ve been using it on and off throughout the last year as they’ve gone from Mozilla to FireFox and various beta versions.

The best part is it has a true tabbed interface.

  2. theres more to high search engine placement that links from PR sites – you need to use anchor words and get links from pages that dont contain loads of other links.

    …amongst other trade secrets 🙂

  3. Very true. In fact, we’re working on a system that can automatically generate flat html pages that have the city/state of every major us city. It’s insane.

  4. Hello…

Yes they can… Ive seen some outrages prices just to link up with a site like that. The common joe or jane simply cant compete with those types of prices. While I believe that the founders of google page rank had all good intentions they have opened new doors for those hoping to get inside… But at what price? Evidently a VERY steep one!
    thanks
