One reply on “Interactive Community Map” While this is a marketing map, the beauty of it is striking. I was thrown by the “community” in the mapping. I am an ecopsychologist who does Community Mapping in different towns. It is a great multi-medium sort of activity for all. The results may be oral histories, walks to identify important places, drawings, paintings, traditions, festivals, you name it. It is a way to engage an entire community in their expressions of what their “place” means to them. A sense of place would be that overused phrase. I like to connect people to their environment any way I can. I would have used such a beautiful map as the one you found a bit differently, but it is a fine attempt at showing the land, whether for sale, or not.
