Sharpie had an ad in the Superbowl and I figured I’d mention it. They used the ad to announce a new retractable pen.

I really like the navigation system on Billboard.com, it is super clean and colorful. The rest of the site is actually well done. It’s quite busy but easy to use — thanks to clean layout and use of a readable font size.

Andy just linked me up with bgpatterns.com and it’s definitely the coolest thing I’ve seen all month. The site makes it simple to create a background tile for your web site.

Weber has a new web site (big improvement) and it’s really cool. I like how they feature a bunch of different grills on the homepage and let you do a bunch of research. Link: Old Weber site for comparison.

I ran across Splunk this morning. I thought the design was quite nice… it’s clean, has a low color impact, and big bold headlines and cheesy tag lines. You can even refresh the page to see a different one. I like it.
