Burger King Refresh

I really love the soft design and clean look of the AIGA Design Archives. The Thumbnail + Short Blurb portfolio is getting tired as a way to communicate design talent, imho. Thanks to Douglas Perkins for passing this link along.

I liked the look of Mark Boulton’s web site. It’s similar to the Tornado site in terms of the colors but that’s about it. Very simple design.

Just ran across the updated Ground Control web site. Looks nice from a graphical standpoint.

Go Daddy recently redesigned their homepage and it is vastly improved. So much better that for a change it doesn’t take me 10 minutes just to get my bearings when I visit. For a change the page takes less effort and that’s really good.

A good Flash web site can be tricky to pull off. Especially an all-Flash site. The folks at Simply Orange appear to have taken that challenge and really come up with a great solution.

Reader Mark Fusco sent over a neat site for our viewing pleasure. Check out Powszechny Dom Kredytowy (Poland). He says “this has got to be one of the more amazing flash sites I’ve seen in a while. Great transitions, design, graphics, music and copywriting – it’s working on all levels.” We agreed. Thanks Mark!
