I thought the Hoover web site was interesting. I love their logo. In a wierd way it’s both retro and has a look of history yet modern and the circle aspect must be great for design.
Jaiku has a very nicely designed “tour” section on their web site. Thought I’d point it out.
I ran across the Nike ACG site over the weekend and wanted to share it with you all. I liked all of the video and motion integrated with the site, all through Flash of course. The only drawback to sites like this, is that they take a lot of time to explore. I find myself…
So Samsung has a new web site (at least, since I last visited). I really like it. The subtle use of Flash to help with communicating and navigation, the really sharp and crisp photos with bright colors. Very well done.

Andrew shared this link with me this morning and I thought I’d pass it along. The Things We Make is a personal web site of a designer from the UK.

Everything looks the same and he’s supposed to be a “Creative Director”. My arse.
And his code is apalling, mixing hard-coded tweens with other bits that ocassionally resemble OOP. He should be ashamed of himself. Or post his stuff on Flashkit with the rest of the crap.
