billQ

billQ is a new web-based application that gives you an easy way to keep track of your bills. With billQ, you can make sure you always know exactly what you have to pay, and when you have to pay it.

I like it. Clever idea. They also have a blog which I’ve subscribed to.

  1. This has a “Big Brother is Watching” sort of feel to it. I’d be interested to know with whom they’re sharing all of that aggregated information.

  2. @Chris: Thanks for checking out billQ. We are glad you like it. Also stay tuned to our blog or a billQ update announcement .

@Douglas: I understand your concern, but we Do Not and Will Not share any of your personal information.

First of all, its unethical and disrespectful to our users, and second of all, you enter no sensitive information in the first place.

All you enter is the name of the bill, its amount, and due date. You can even give it a fake name and amount if you want and still get the reminder.

  3. wow, i’ve been looking for a site like this. after paying a bill and archiving, can you print out the archives to store as a hard copy somewhere?

  4. Ooooh this is spiff! Thanks for sharing it! Right now I keep all my deadlines on an analog calendar next to my computer at home. It’s so gratifying to make a big ol’ mark through it when I pay the bill.

    I wonder if this’d help with that thing I hear about… budgeting… Has a group feature. Hm…

Haha. “billQ can be accessed from any modern web browser (please don’t try to pull out Netscape 4 on us).” Cute!

I dig the design of their blog (http://www.weareseencreative.com/) too.

  5. @Jessica: Thanks for the kind words!

@Evan: Good idea about exporting the paid bill archives. We are working on a few ways to export data. But in the meantime I guess you could always print the page.
