Giant for Women
Stumbled across Giant for Women today and thought it was pretty cool. It’s an interesting design, with little dots (like on a map) that border all of the content areas.

Simpson Strong-Tie has an interesting site. It’s not great, but it has some nice qualities to it including a clean and simple navigation scheme with plenty of white space. I think the Strong-Tie logo is pretty cool.
Andrew shared this link with me this morning and I thought I’d pass it along. The Things We Make is a personal web site of a designer from the UK.
I thought the Ryder Cup web site (for the USA Team) was pretty cool. Definately a nice use of subtle colors (reminds me of Cork’d, frankly). It is also exciting to see a sponsor (Cadillac) that doesn’t demand their branding be all over the site.
One of the guys in our office is expecting a baby and shared TheBump.com and The Land of Nod with us. Overall a really great design (and they have a bunch of other sites in their network).
Trulia just launched and it looks like it is a new competitor to Zillow. Could be a winner.
Tom sent me a link to FreeAdvice.com today, and it looks like a great resource. Plus, I like the interface.
