In response to that, I guess I am capable of just not touching my computer at all for a few days for some R&R. I do have a family so am trying to make sure I do budget time for everyone.

I’m not a “workaholic” per se, because I know how to relax when I’m supposed to (ie: weekends, vacations, etc…).

However, when I’m on a project and a deadline is bearing down, I go into over-drive and might work 20 hours straight to get it done.

I would describe myself as a workahaulic but I do love what I do for a living. The problem arises when you come home, continue working on freelance stuff and do not really switch off.

I personally believe that there are pitfalls from doing this and there is a threshold at which you no longer produce your best work.

Having said that, I can’t see me stopping in the near future because I have bits and bobs of web stuff coming out of my ears and I never stop trying to generate the next idea / project. Does that make me dedicated, crazy or just a plain old workahaulic? I dunno…
