Tilt Shift
Looking around online I discovered a whole string of photos with the tilt shift effect. It turns out most of the people making these aren’t using the special lens attachment to do this — instead it’s all done in Photoshop.
And I must say it’s a great idea. I followed these instructions and made a few of my own.

Wow the photos of your great grandmother’s home and the Catalina Islands really came out great! I’ve got some photos of Cozumel that I’ll have to try that with.

The catalina islands photo is really spot on. Perfect angle for that effect. Totally looks like a miniature.
