Tilt Shift

Looking around online I discovered a whole string of photos with the tilt shift effect. It turns out most of the people making these aren’t using the special lens attachment to do this — instead it’s all done in Photoshop.

And I must say it’s a great idea. I followed these instructions and made a few of my own.


My great-great-great grandmother’s home in Sweden.


Catalina Island.


Bergen, Norway.

  • Wow the photos of your great grandmother’s home and the Catalina Islands really came out great! I’ve got some photos of Cozumel that I’ll have to try that with.

  • The catalina islands photo is really spot on. Perfect angle for that effect. Totally looks like a miniature.
