It’s funny that you mention it as there was a Simpsons episode on the other night about outsourcing. Mr Burns was outsourcing to India and Homer had to go over to India to train them about running a nuclear power plant.

Anyway Homer ended up running the place and becoming a God to the outsourced employees.

Outsourcing is great!

I forgot to mention. The way the article described it, I don’t think he told his boss that he had outsourced his job.

I actually have a project now i have no interest in doing and am concidering doing this. so let us know how it went

I heard of a programmer who did that once. He still came in to work every day, but he had hired two developers in India and paid them with half of his salary. They did his work and he eventually got a second job and did the same thing. Pretty crazy way to get into offshore IT management!

I’d like to outsource most of my job and just do the design part of it.

I definitely think that sales is most stressful part of my day. Further, I think it’s one of the things that sets me apart from everyone else. This is why I can’t see myself outsourcing that part of my company.
