Somehow that is just easier said than done. I’m thinking of new ideas every day, but I’m also sorting them – some just need to much work, some is just to unrealistic and some just ain’t good enough.

But as it seems like you have found some great ideas, you’re welcome to get in touch if you want some help in any way

The important thing is to keep moving it forward when the initial idea has been out there awhile. Breaking your idea down into pieces and moving it forward, with two people on it you could work double time. Having a set deadline and feature set for 1.0 makes your idea move forward as well.

The ideas are the easy part, it is the implementation that is difficult, especially when your idea extends beyond your own area of expertise and instead requires a whole other area which you must branch out and learn. The time it takes to learn becomes too much and ideas diminish. If I had the amount of time it would take to build the next great thing (as I envision it), I would definitely “stop working for the man.” Great post!

Planning the escape is a lot of fun. Me and my business partner used to meet a coffee shop at 6:00 in the morning before going to our office jobs and brainstorm on business ideas. Ahh, those were the days.
