Did you know that the search function built into WordPress doesn’t support searching pages or comments people leave? Well, I didn’t know that either. Now you can by installing a simple search all content plugin. Grab it here. I enabled it on BrainFuel.

I didnt know what. What is it good for out of the box then?

Out of the box WordPress searches just posts. So this plugin adds pages and comments to that mix.

It’s pretty pathetic that the search wasn’t improved with the 2.0 release. AJAX tomfoolery in the admin interface, yes; properly functioning search, no. Looks like style wins over substance yet again.
