Plain Black CMS
Ever hear of Plain Black? They apparently have a very popular, open source, user-friendly CMS system. I have plans to try the demo here shortly just figured I’d ask if anybody has used it in any manner. Personally, while nice, I can’t help but compare it to Macromedia Contribute which is so much more powerful and just works.

We’ve run the Texas State University-San Marcos web site (though not currently), as well as a handful of departmental/a> web sites, both academic and administrative, through WebGui. It was easy to set up, easy to customize and even easier for our faculty and staff to update their web sites with. The response from these folks has been absolutely AMAZING – the ease of use is something they rave about consistently. I’ve put in a proposal to speak about our implementation at the next HighEdWebDev conference.
