I got the quote out of a movie I was watching. I’ve heard it before but they used it on a fortune cookie. The movie was “The Fortune Cookie” and it was pretty good.
A recent adaptation of this says: “You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can’t fool me.”
It sounds like something Michael Milken said a few days before the Feds showed up to cuff him for the savings and loan scandal.
