Launchy

I’m enthralled with Launchy, it’s really great for me because I’ve grown weary of navigating Windows Explorer. With Launchy, I can tell it to index my project folders, and then I can type in the name of a client and it pulls up their project folder. It probably saves me 15 minutes every day.

It’s true purpose is to launch programs. In the example below, you can see how easy it is to launch Firefox. To open up the command utility, just type Alt + Spacebar. Easy as pie!

  • Nice find Chris, thanks for sharing. The link went straight into my del.icio.us tags, now just need to find time to install and mess around with it.

  • Glad you guys like it. I forgot to mention that it uses very little system resources. I never even notice it is running.

  • Oh, I’m sure they were, but you could say the same about the Chevy.
