Adopting Macromedia’s idea of substituting 2 letters for a version number, Adobe releases the latest versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, GoLive, Indesign as “CS” for Creative Suite.

Just a quick note on the Adobe Creative Suite: It will be released late November this year. It is only available for pre-order at the moment.

Awesome, thanks for the note, I hadn’t noticed that.

Is everyone else just totally confused by the CS thing? I’m like “What’s the difference and what’s really “new” and why is the upgrade worth every penny? Is it just me or is everyone else sort of wondering about the “worth” of upgrades? Less and less do we see major upgrades that massively increase features. Oh well.
