I had this idea myself a while ago. The project was built but the things is that it's imposanble to build the "ultimate" CMS becouse every client has their on special needs and after a while I encountered problems with this architectures flexability becouse when i needed to make some specific changes for a special client that would make the CMS way too complex.
At the end i decided to to back to the original CMS concept.

But, on the other hand if your client list is very similar then this should work just fine.

So far the penny gap is the problem for me. I might have to move to a freemium model.

Hi Dorothy,

That sounds great. I should clarify, it isn't a product from Tornado Design. It's a product from Don Fitzsimmons (he worked at Tornado a few years back, you might remember him) who lives in Phoenix.

Clover Content and Tornado are actually good friends, and Tornado has been using the Clover CMS for about a month on another clients web site and it has been working out great. We'd recommend giving Clover a whirl. They have a 30 day free trial so you can test it out and make sure it works for you.

Hi Chris,

This sounds great, in fact I have a few projects that I think would be perfect for your new CMS. Great job.
