A few more notes about WordPress 2.0

Many WordPress 2.0 users have been complaining about the new image uploading tool in WordPress 2.0 and that’s because there are actually less controls than in the previous version. If you like the way it was before you can install this Old-Style Upload Plugin.

Then someone decided that WordPress 2.0 didn’t have enough editing functions and wrote a plugin that expands the WYSIWYG support. Details are at the Advanced Editing for WordPress 2.0 page.

Then there’s an effort to make your comment box Ajax enabled. This sounds like fun.

What’s missing? A spell check plugin compatable with the new WYSIWYG editor. I’m trying to find one but quickly giving up hope.

  • Great plugin links – thanks for sharing. (now I just need to find some uses for them, but that shouldn’t be a problem)
