You Software makes some interesting plug ins for Outlook including a new beta RSS reader. I liked the appearance of their web site, too.

Dominos

I thought that the Dominos Pizza Meal Builder was pretty cool. I’m surprised this sort of ordering interface isn’t more common.

Looks like a good stock photo subscription service ($99/six-months). PhotosToGo Unlimited.

Plain Black CMS

Ever hear of Plain Black? They apparently have a very popular, open source, user-friendly CMS system. I have plans to try the demo here shortly just figured I’d ask if anybody has used it in any manner. Personally, while nice, I can’t help but compare it to Macromedia Contribute which is so much more powerful and just works.

I don’t know where the time flies off to, it’s Friday again and we’re holding a caption contest. Come up with a funny, clean caption and post it in the comments.

NB: If you have a cool photo for next week’s caption contest get in touch… cmt at tornadodesign.com – Thanks!

Target

Ever been to the Target web site? They’re still using the Amazon.com technology for the back end (a smart idea) but they have a homepage and main site that’s separate and looks great. I think it’s been improved recently and the new changes are solid. The bright red navigation bar and easy to read sidebar navigation.

Share: Best Designed GUI for Web Apps

It’s show and tell day, or at least sharing day at BrainFuel. By popular request (well, one person anyways), we want to know from you what your favorite web apps are and especially the ones with the best user interface… and you have to tell us why. Leave a comment, and a link, in this post and if we get enough interest I’ll do a follow up post some time soon with my thoughts.

Wynn

Wynn Hotel has a really cool web site. For a $2.7 billion hotel it should! It’s apparently a new hotel being built in Las Vegas and I like what they did with the web site. Supposedly it’s being marketed as a super-luxury hotel (what isn’t these days?) and I think the web site comes across implying it’s unique. Whatever that means in real life, the web site is cool and so I’m linking to it. I liked the Dining page the best.
