I really liked the way this site is designed. It’s friendly and doesn’t overwhelm me plus it has a great set of features for Thanksgiving. Excellent site.

This looks like a good article on search optimization. It’s stuff you’ve heard again and again. I thought the best parts were to avoid search engine firms that promise the world. Like top placement and saying it’ll be easy.

The best advice though? Stop worrying about your search rankings and try to improve your conversion rate. How many customers come to your web site and can’t find what they need? Or, does your product description answer the questions people typically have? Can it be better?

An amazing article I found in the Yorkshire Post (and yes, I read it every day) tells how one British Army Officer trying to cure his fear of heights falls 3,500 feet and survives after his parachute failed to open. Wow, that would sure put a new spin on life.

Apparently, the day after Thanksgiving is one of the hottest shopping days of the year, and a lot of stores run specials. The people who run this site have managed to get a hold of hot sales lists and have posted them on their underground web site of sorts.

Pretty nifty. I might go for that PNY 256Mb Attache Flash Drive from Staples for only $9.99. (muhahahahah *evil chuckle*)

Something about the Cingular Wireless web site really strikes my fancy. Since the AT&T Wireless merger the other day they’re now my cell phone provider. I suppose what I like is the bright colors which could be called a brave move by some. It provides a bit of refreshing contrast to all of the web sites with a blue background.

Contrast with the competition: Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint PCS, ALLTEL.
