Canon Professional Europe
I found the CPS Europe site to be both engaging and fun to use while learning a thing or two about Canon’s products at the same time.

A person named Ro London made a cool little page showing the variations of arrows, bullets, shopping cart icons, and other little iconography we use to communicate on the web. He says “It’s for Brainstorming, if you will.”
A very well-done flash interface here; simulates a possible future featuring mobile phone technology like wristwatch videophones. The hi-res photos and transitions are super-smooth.
One of the better commentary sites I’ve seen in recent days: Airbag. Why? Plenty of white space, content is blocked off into manageable chunks, and typography is expertly managed.
Typically we talk about and show you web sites that are inspiring in one form or another, and it’s rare that we talk about logos. Today I’ve decided to post a zip file for download. Basically, over the years whenever I’ve seen a great logo or a neat icon that speaks to me I’ve saved a copy to my hard drive.
Please let me know if this sort of thing is helpful by leaving a comment.
ScaleCars.com is a neat little eCommerce web site. They sell little car replicas. I think it’s a bit more upscale than the Hotwheels you can get at Target and I saw a few of them selling for a couple grand. Pretty cool eCommerce idea because its simple, the product is small, and not a lot of moving parts (less breakage and thus less returns).
Check out Madwaggon’s ecommerce site (they sell bikes) which blends clear layout with an especially vibrant white background.
Here’s a great blog that shows off places, things, and websites that don’t seem to have much thought put into them. The consequences are usually quite humorous. How about a square toilet (for robots?) or a fishing lure/hook with the warning label “harmful if swallowed”?!
