Boise Contemporary Theater

This web site is done entirely in Flash. I would suggest that the type is too small, and besides the top navigation and content window, the rest of it looks like clutter.

Shift – calls itself New Zealand’s best design firm

Interesting design firm. I think the design of this site is very creative. They’ve done some good work, too.

PureNZ

I have a big list of places I intend to go visit in my lifetime, and New Zealand is near the top. Several people think that it is because LOTR was filmed there, but that’s not the case. I’ve been wanting to visit for quite some time. A NZ base firm called Shift designed this site.

It’s such an elegant design. The bright contrasting colors (Red/Black) mixed with easy to read text. The sub pages cary over this theme consistently and provide easy navigation.

The new Mini

Once these come out, and a few 1-year old models hit the street I might just get one and ditch my nice Grand Prix. I like the Grand Prix, but it’s bright red and I don’t want to be confused with a speeding fire engine.

…has a great collection of Japanese advertising from 1603 onwards. Some really fantastic imagery. This links to the English version of the site; there is also a version available in Japanese. (courtesy Print Magnate)

Wow, Chris. You just packed 3 posts into one!

Who’s We

This site is incredible, and bandwidth-intensive.

Here is a good article on what you can do with components in flash (Thanks Ben). Also, check out the tour of Macromedia’s offices.
