This is an excellent design for it’s category. I am not sure of the agenda of the organization however besides being a Sept. 11th mission. It was designed by the Hirshorn Zuckerman Design Group.
I believe this site uses Flash MX with QuickTime integrated inside of it. Pretty cool.
An interesting approach which lends itself to showing creativity.

This agency has done some nice work for a variety of well known companies. It’s a nice simple site.
This is the company that lost over 700 people on September 11th. They have rebounded nicely.

This is a Flash piece by the NY Times with some stories about 9/11.
If content is king, then why do so many design shops only show the creative aspects of their firm on their own web sites? Are people looking for creativity or results? I don’t know whether this company writes too much, or not enough. Or maybe not the right style. But style and the way you communicate is important and will be a foundation stone that attracts a specific type of client. Make sure yours is attracting the right type of client. This company did this site, which would be an interesting case study.
